Abstract

Botanic Garden Rosarium, like all the roses collections around the world, is trying to bring new cultivars in order to enrich the existing collection. Like in 2008 when the big change of the Rosarium started, adding every year new cultivars, this year we are introducing 5 new cultivars of roses that will attract visitors for many years to come. They are planted in the middle of the Rosarium so none shall be missed. Some are very fragrant like ‘Minerva’ or ‘Brocéliande’ and others catch your eye with interesting petals like ‘Poseidon’, our main concern is to bring new cultivars every year in order to impress rose lovers every season. They are part of the hybrid tea and floribunda (Quest-Ritson B. 2008).
